Two new Hungarian intangible cultural heritage elements added to the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity
The Hungarian string band tradition and the Lipizzan horse breeding traditions have been added to the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, which collects the knowledge of communities handed down from generation to generation on the basis of nominations from individual countries.
