2024. december 9-én Barcelonában tartották az UNESCO és a Barça Alapítvány által alapított Fit for Life Network Against Racism nyitórendezvényét, amely a sportban tapasztalható rasszizmus elleni küzdelemre fókuszál. Magyarországot Mohamed Aida hétszeres olimpikon képviselte, akit Havas László, Magyarország OECD és UNESCO mellé rendelt nagykövete kísért el az eseményre.
Hungary's Csárdás dance tradition has been officially inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The announcement was made on December 4, 2024, during the UNESCO committee's meeting in Asunción, Paraguay.
