On December 17, 2024, the UNESCO headquarters in Paris hosted the festive event "Echoes of Hungary", organized by the Permanent Delegation of Hungary and the Hungarian Cultural Institute in Paris. The event served a dual purpose: celebrating the inclusion of the Csárdás tradition on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and marking the conclusion of Hungary's presidency of the European Union Council.

In addition to Ambassador László Havas, speeches were delivered by the Deputy Director-General for Culture of UNESCO, the President of the UNESCO General Conference and the Director of the Liszt Institute Hungarian Cultural Center in Paris. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. György Habsburg, Hungary's ambassador to Paris, as well as numerous UNESCO ambassadors and expert diplomats.

As part of the festive program, the Hungarian music and dance group "Folk Embassy" performed a spectacular Csárdás demonstration, showcasing not only the dance traditions but also the "Táncház" (dance house) method, which has been included in UNESCO’s Register of Good Safeguarding Practices since 2011.  The event's atmosphere was further enriched by Hungarian culinary delights and wines, offering attendees a taste of Hungary's rich gastronomic traditions.
